INTRO DUCTION by Graham Williamson
SINCE ABOUT six years ago, the amateur magazine Conspiracies has been keeping almost sixty people enthralled with its unique blend of stuff. Having neither the time nor the inclination to move it into the world of professional magazine producing, we?ve started this web page. On here you?ll find highlights of issues 8 to 11, and there?ll be some older material coming soon too. As it stands, though, this is an introduction to Conspiracies. It started off as a piss-take of paranormal magazines, but when we branched out we found that we couldn?t get rid of the name and it followed us about, blithely ignoring restraining orders.
So, here?s what you?ll find on this web site.
Retired US cop Bo Dietl, apart from having a Star Wars-esque name, has thoughtfully devised a system by which YOU can check whether your kids are accessing EVIL material on the Internet. This page contains most of the words in the database. Proceed only if you can confront Satan.
Editorial/ Credits, The Miniature Messenger, and The X Files. Tough luck.
NEWS!
It?s fair to say that our news facilities are brilliant. Here?s a compilation of some of our least crap news stories. Includes some pre-issue 8 material.
Courtney Love!
We?ve been lucky enough to catch an interview with the elusive professional layabout, and you?ll find it in here.
Clinton Mart!
We auction off useless presidential material.
Conspiracies Cookery!
This month; tragic kitchen accident pie!
Oasis News!
One of our most remarkable news gathering coups was intercepting this news article from the year 2033, snatching it from the hands of Art Bell.
A Crash Course In Latin!
With your Word Curdler General, Tim Lewis
Coincidence!
After printing about five or six Coincidence features we realised that by an amazing coincidence, they were all coincidences. So here?s some useless and unconnected facts.
Well, that?s about it. Coming soon there?ll be some more of the best old material (at least, the bits we can print without fear of legal retribution) including The Smith Diaries, a piece on Timothy Good and a newspaper from 1933. Coming in September (subject to delays) there?ll be new Conspiracies stuff from the latest magazines here as well, and some censored material that you won?t be able to find anywhere else. Stay beautiful!
